Salvation

The Problem

The Bible says that we all have a problem. It is a problem that started in the Garden of Eden and continues to this day. The problem is sin.

Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

The Solution

The good news is that God has a solution to this problem and his name is Jesus.

Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
2 Corinthians 5:21, For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Our Choice

Jesus took or place, dying for our sin and resurrecting on the third day that we might be saved. But we must choose to accept his offer of salvation. It requires an act of faith on our part.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9-10, 13, 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
